Blog backend change

Posted: April 5th, 2007 | Author: Panagiotis Karageorgakis | Filed under: Site News |

After giving up on ExpressionEngine would do for me what I wanted it to. After using it for some days though, I got rather disappointed from some of it’s limitations and functionality, so I switched to WordPress.

Due to the blog software change, permalinks may be broken. I’ll see if I can fix this with RewriteRules but I don’t swear this will happen.

Update: Permalinks to the articles that have been posted in the previous version are now redirecting to the correct address. The old RSS feed url is also redirecting to the new url, so users who have subscribed to the old feeds shouldn’t need to change their urls (although they’re encouraged to do so)

The bottom line is that no blog software or CMS yet has become what it should. That’s why I plan to make one the way I want it to be. More on this soon…
