My name is Panagiotis (Panos for short) and I am a 30-yrs old male born, raised and living in Greece. I work as a Web Designer / Developer and IT Consultant.
I studied Computer Science at the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and I have a Master’s Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering (M.Eng.) at the Electronics and Computer Engineering Dept. of the Technical University of Crete. During my master I co-authored a paper about Machine Translation. At the moment I’m into my second Master’s in Graphic Arts & Multimedia at the School of Applied Arts of the Hellenic Open University.
In the same time I founded Web Architects and entered the web domain as a professional web designer and developer. Having a love for arts and design and experimenting with various art forms since I was a kid, and fusing this with my expertise on web development and technologies, I envisioned my firm as a vessel for the materialization of my creative ideas. During my work in the web domain, I designed several websites and coded web applications for diverse clients in Greece, including three big sports events.
Currently, I am in the process of preparation for my web start-up company. I love the web and I hope that my projects will make it better, as well as offer people something new and useful.
I like blogging about all things Web, the Internet and IT and how it affects our everyday lives. Occasionally I love making predictions about the future (time will tell if they hold true).
This is a temporary version of my blog, hopefully I’ll (finally!) launch the full-featured edition sometime in Q1 of 2009. Thanks for visiting!
